Ascelpius has at least loose connections to Jupiter and centaur, and isn't as well known as caduceus, so also much riskier.

Caduceus isn’t actually a medical thing tho; Hermes has nothing to do with medicine

If he wants to go greek to let us know Greece wasn’t architecture then he googles Greek god of medicine and gets Asclepius and finds out he has the staff that doctors use and then he clues it

I think pole may be right, but I don't agree on why. If the missing word here is pole, I think it is because it is the second snow word.. I don't think cold 2 was ever disease and snow. A cold is mostly thought of as a virus as opposed to a disease (I am not even sure if it is a "disease," per se).

Let's remember it was a 2 clue early in the game. Why give us cold 2 to get snow and disease when there are better "direct" picks than disease on the board.... like penguin and pole and Jupiter.

So I like pole I think ( and not by much), but for different reasons than others, I guess..

Again, as spymaster you come up with a clue linking 2+ words and then you go over your list to see if any others fit...you never miss disease there for cold

Then you look at assassins and blue and then neutral to see what else fits...you shouldn’t miss penguin there but he did

Galápagos penguins aren’t in cold water but people associate them with the cold so he shoulda seen that coming but long list you can hit an assassin so maybe he just yoloed it thinking disease and snow are more direct, we’ll find out in the postmortem

I have no idea why, that's why I'm so confused. The possible explanation I gave before was that both disease and Jupiter were ours and he didn't want us to go off of one if the other was correct.

Ok so he didn’t think of Jupiter as cold...definitely possible (unlike disease)

And then we talked about both and he doesn’t want us to drop off of Jupiter once we get disease or vice versa

Cold was definitely snow and disease but then we started talking about Jupiter also but I’m not sure he cares that much about us not liking Jupiter since it’s a weak connection to cold anyway and he can clue it later...not like we will think it’s 100% out
