i guess one part of prip's whole deal is there's no other clue in the game that i'd expect him to immediately clear the person for, based on his own clue. that's helpful sometimes, but not very possible here. so i don't really know what he sees in the people he does have clear

I know that Poker has given random-sounding clues as chameleon before, but I don't think he does that here with a clue that hits about a third of the board; I think he either goes broad or super-obscure like with the pineapple thing

So I don't think it's him, and it's never Eric

leaving inD, whose clue fits but is plausibly something a chameleon would give, and Prip, whose clue I don't understand

This is basically the mirror of how I feel (swap you with me). I think we should be heavily considering how much credit we give inD's clue (if you're a villager, this will be a very understandable statement). His response to me saying I potentially liked his clue was pretty spot on, so credit there, but also not un-makeable as a Chameleon.

I have no idea what the two sentences of that statement even mean. For the last part, I haven't stated anywhere that I've cleared anyone... I posted initial reactions and that's about it.

I think Eric is as good as clear, he's the Chameleon a very small percentage of the time at best.

Gad's clue eludes me, but his posting is good and his sentiments about people's clues echo mine.

PC has obv done no posting. His clue has a connection. I'll address his clue more below.

I addressed inD's clue further up. I don't understand a lot of his posting. Probably my prime suspect atm.

I've seen villa PC give super random clues the past two games, so this clue actual hit my radar as being off-brand for villa PC. That being said, I like it more than I like inD's.

There are two connections you could make, but they are basically the same. One is common knowledge and one is a bit more obscure. You can arrive at the first on your own for sure. From there you might be able to get the 2nd. You could Google the latter if you knew what you were looking for, but obv I'm not gonna feed the Chameleon any hints.

i think PC's clue could reasonably hit a number of words beyond the answer if he needed to stretch it, but he hasn't been pressed into doing that

it can be a tell if someone should be understanding another player's clue for the right reasons, based on thinking along the same lines when cluing. i knew TN was a villa last game when he clued "Wall" to my six days' war

i just don't think i have a similar way of measuring you here, but i understand at least the first level you say your clue is on (and i figure you can see that i have), and that's why i said i could clear one person at first glance

it's more than just clue choice; it's also playstyle, which i don't think you've grown out of when you're not under pressure

i'm also gobsmacked that i'm apparently the only one who understands prip's, and that put him in a position of having to explain it more

i think people not understanding the clues is, you know, something worth actually looking at

i've attempted to show why my clue fits, since that seems necessary

if you can't clear me from that then you're either hopeless or the person i should be voting
