Did my research and decided NordVPN was the way to go. I was ready to pay up but saw they had a free trial (3 days I think?) so I did that.

It reduced my internet speed by more than 80%. I'll take my chances without it

I download dozens of movies through torrents each month so just wanted something to cover my tracks (because of those stories you hear about random people being made examples of)... But I don't want slow internet just because I'm downloading in the background

I didn't try any others as that seemed to be the most recommended one, just gonna take my chances without a VPN

I use a proxy to watch things online from the UK/US if needed

Gotcha. My issue more security based then secrecy based, especially after the Equifax breach

I am walking in the Dana Farber Cancer Institute Jimmy Fund Walk on September 24th. For those of you unaware, DFCI is one of the leading cancer hospitals in the world, for both patient care and research.
I am doing this in support of one of my good friends, Joe, who was recently diagnosed with cancer, and is going through his third round of chemo as I type this.

never played minecraft but if I was a bit younger I can imagine wasting a significant chunk of my life on it. Seems very detailed

My wife just started playing Minecraft on her ipad this last Easter. She now loves the game and probably plays it more than my kids.

I'm blown away with the level of complexity that they can put into a game that runs on the phone that sits in my pocket.

I was at Walmart today. At the checkout counter they had Snickers bars with messages like "Hot Mess", "Goofball", "Oddball" etc... Who in their right mind would ever think that was a good idea?
