as long as someone has installed 8 resonators you're fine, but there need to be 8 there to link,

other things that stop linking: unexpected geography that's not as straight as you think so there are other links blocking, too little energy - the level/energy of the resonators determines the distance over which they can connect.

i was actually thinking the opposite. there would be less correlation in pathological cases because then it's more likely to be a specific thing related to either sex or food, and not necessarily sensuality in general

that really doesn't matter, it's something you could use for acting. if you have to eat in a scene, you could think of how your character has sex and eat that way. has nothing whatsoever to do with like actual data or something.
