you can't eat a live octopus unless you're actually Japanese

There’s an 8 foot African Fish Eagle 🦅 loose a valley over, and I live at 1200 feet. Oh, and there’s a lynx about, too. I got 99 problems but octopi ain’t one.

Since we're talking about sheep, who put the dip in the dip da dip da dip? Or is that still done?

I'm pretty sure my cat just called me a bad butler/chef. I left her two 32-packs of canned food in the car yesterday so I could carry in her litter. It's now two hours past the time she normally gets fed, and she has moved from staring at me to slowly chewing on the dry food she has available at all times.

I can practically feel her growing frustration. I just wanted to wait until it warmed up a little bit, but the guilt has now gotten the better of me.

Mark K, if you dress up as a spendthrift tonight to trick or treat, no one will recognize you! Plus you'll get a lot of free candy.

If it's even a few minutes past the time my cats normally get fed, the fiesty one will go up to her empty bowl and just start licking it, Then stop and look at me, Then resume licking once she knows I have noticed her.

Big Bang Theory used to be good, but now I dislike all the characters and the storylines are cheesy and no longer fresh.

I don't like Modern Family, but I can watch it. It's a stupid show, but I like Ed O'Neill as an actor and I don't hate his character, and the women are hot, at least.

Oh, yeah: Get off my lawn, you damn kids!
Watch "You're the Worst."

Is "You're the Worst" about people who don't turn off their Tapatalk signatures?

They do not show these kind of people in TV series.

My cat used to climb up on my chest when she was a tiny kitten and snuggle and purr.

She doesn't fit any longer, but that's okay. She puts her front paws on my shoulder and her feet on my breast and purrs happily into my ear. She is awesome. It's a small price to pay to haul home 30 lbs of food and 25 lbs of litter.

This is the first year that neither of my kids are trick-or-treating - both are in high school.

My candy supply is going to take a hard hit.

I'm dreaming...... of a white Hallowe'en....
Just like the ones I used to know....

Oh, wait. It's not a dream. There really is snow and slush for the trick-or-treaters tonight.

Hallowe'en in Edmonton, folks.

I saw a guy down the street taking pictures of the snow. I think he's from the Phillipines.

So I've been reading up on heart surgery while trying to decide if it's something I should do soonish or wait til I get older.

It sounds ****ing terrifying while being generally safe all in all.

Anybody here have experience with somebody who has gone through heart surgery? What is recovery like? The specific surgery I would be looking at is Septal Myectomy if anybody has any experience with ir.
