220 golden gate ave, the kelly cullen auditorium. 6pm curtain. saturday oct 10th. you don't need tickets. the door will be closed AND LOCKED and there will be homeless people standing around. but if you push the wheelchair button, the door will open maybe. but if you push the white button, the desk lady will let you in. then just walk up the stairs and you will see the theater. you cant miss it.
the richies coming to macbeth(same venue) tonight were a little confused. the entrance to the theater is weird since the door is closed and it doesnt look like a theater and there are a bunch of homeless drug addicts hanging around. but they all figured it out pretty easily and made it to the show.
while we were in japan, LKC got given a (ridiculously expensive and inappropriate but that's another story) train set; this morning mrs k plugged it into the mains and blew the transformer up (240V bro). The transformer needs to output 15v ac 1.5a to the control unit, the best I can find is 15v ac but only 0.5a. Is this likely to: work but be slow, or just not work?
I can find a whole replacement unit but it's 3x the price.
I have neither wellnamed well paid technology job nor the figleaf of 'pseudoscience' in my Masters degree.....
17th century poetry for the win!
Studying Ancient Greek is a fantasy of mine although sometimes I think Latin might be more my go. As of now - a Masters degree in Engl Lit whilst living in working poverty is enough indulgence - I think if I took up Ancient greek as well the Australian government would deport me for using up all frivolous knowledge gathering in one person.

Still am; that's why I'm taking it. I haven't taken an official one in a very long time, and I think teaching something one doesn't do oneself is ungood.
