Question as an accountant. How does this work for companies that take bitcoin for payment?

Let's say yesterday a company sells a tv for 1 bitcoin at 2700. Today that sales is only worth 2250. Is that accounted for as a 450 dollar loss? Is it accounted for similar to FX changes?

It was 28^oc all day so LKC wanted to spend the night in the tent. Cue a 4:30am lightning storm in which I did a set of things (stay put, take a pee after the storm was clearing) which a Canadian government website tells me pretty much maximised our chance of being hit.

Did you hold a brolly high above your head while peeing?

I've started playing again, and I'm having way more trouble on reentry than i remember. Coming back from Mun, i get my periapsis to about 30k, point the heat shield in the direction of travel, and what else? I keep exploding.

That sounds fine. What vessel are you using and what's attached to it? How fast are you traveling? Are you exploding during reentry or from landing too fast?

Also make sure the ablative material is not too low. (right click on the heat shield, default is max which is good)

BTW FYI, a feature of the current versions (1.2+) is that you can now activate parachutes way way early and they won't open until it is safe to do so. But this doesn't help your problem.

I've only seen your issue when I have a bunch of stuff still attached to the capsule during reentry like a jr science module and/or a crew cabin. But even then, it was more of a problem of not slowing down enough and blowing up on impact with the ground.
