Estonia is known in the UK as a real world leader for IT/web/electronic government. Guess the story checks out

Probably similar to how they are for you. 3 year old and a 10 month old at home while the wife and I both try to work from home. Not at all sure how this is going to work, but we're going for it.

My dad sold the liquor store that was in the family for 70+ years recently and I raided the inventory before the end so I've got probably 40+ bottles of wine at least.

Thanks Kaze

Those 40 bottles of wine sound super nice right about now, I’m super jelly :O

Over/under on # of times I’ve yelled at my mom “You’re not going to the ****ing Sam’s Club” since she’s been here

Saga starts here if you're on 100 posts per page (post #5802): https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/5...3/index59.html

Just learned about the first person I actually know who was diagnosed with Corona today. Lives in my parent's neighborhood and is the mom of a really good friend of mine POG Pub March 2020 ((LC/NSFW)) - Last Pub Before Covid19 Kills Us All

That was a nice trip down Pog memory lane. Anarchist was a good kid with a good heart, smart as a whip too. Hope he's doing good wherever he's doing stuff now!

Don't buy into the pump and dump. Remember "if you can find your baby, you can feed your baby." Cause I'm sure parenting advice is something you aren't getting enough of

Someone on our street was diagnosed with covid-19. They can't get tested cause MN has a backlog of 1700 tests tho. And reportedly she and her whole family are doing ok.

I had to yell at my parents to make them wake up and take things seriously.

One of my best friends works at a company that just laid off all but 6 employees. He was lucky enough to make the cut and is now working from home. **** is hitting close to home.

I'm oscillating between **** everyone I'm doing what's best for my immediate family, and **** everyone I'm quitting my job and starting a charity to provide meals for the elderly and school children in need. So, you know, I'm handling things well?

Jeeze...that's awful. It is really scary out there right now, not only the virus but also the economy, and most of all the uncertainty of it all. We're under official Stay at Home order.

damn we used to get 11000 posts a month in the pub

i've been in near isolation for over a month now. i've seen just one person, and that was just one time! other than that, i've just gone to the grocery store. and once i went to office max to get a laptop. basically no social contact for a month this is hard

at least i'm not sick. and i'm not worried about bills for the moment

Filthy, don't forget to treat or reward yourself every so often. I recommend you go get a Costco apple pie!

Don Julio works too...

It just dawned on me. I bet you can get an amazing deal on a car right now.

It has to be a once in a lifetime level buyers market.

Tempting.

i got no car. but costco apple pie sounds fantastic!!!!

i think there is a zip car in the garage. maybe i can use that. idk.

but yeah rewards every so often is a great idea. thanks mark! i did get drunk yesterday and that felt great.

tomorrow i gotta get out of the house, even if it's just a little walk in my nightmare neighborhood full of homeless maniacs *sigh* that i pay a fortune for the great location fml
