I think it's a spectrum, everyone has to draw the line somewhere, even if it risks a little hypocrisy. You can't not accidentally kill millions of bacterium every day for example, people aren't gonna start trying to avoid it because it would be ridiculous.

Also, you've got to eat something, may I suggest bacon?

My parents and my brother are both vegans now. My contrarian father apparently takes a perverse pride in not eating any turkey at Missouri holiday get-togethers now.

I'm just glad I'm not there to see it.

egg whites have hardly any nutrition in them.

dietary cholesterol is basically unrelated to serum cholesterol, which is barely related to incidence of heart disease anyway.

they are basically devoid of anything but protein and give me the macros i want for breakfast. i put a bunch of fresh veggies in and top with salsa.

there is a lot of heart disease in my family and i didn't feel like rolling the dice by eating a minimum of 20 eggs/week

I tried to place an order with a local farm which deals in grass-fed beef, dairy, pork, chicken, & wild-caught salmon but they want me to wait a month and a half to take delivery. Amp hungry NOW. I was going to buy some pork shoulder roasts, marrow bones, salmon steaks, bacon, sausage.

Month and a half, **** that!

coconut oil is worth developing a taste for. I save the olive oil for topping after cooking or for salads, don't like how it breaks down so quickly under heat.
