So were they justified in going after resources? Yeah. Did they go too far? Definitely.

You hardly hear about the Soviet purges, even though the body count was a multiple. Don't get me wrong, genocide in any way, shape or form is abhorrent.

But it's been 3/4 a century. Look at Germany today. Especially how amazing their football team has become.

Kids like Ozil and Khedira, f'instance. So I guess it works out in the long run.

Yeah, many fine German players in this team.
