Would've had the kid when I was a 2L in law school. I would have been forever linked to this insane person. I did not want to father any child. Having to bear her involvement to any degree for the rest of my life was nearly unfathomable. I would have done the right thing and supported the kid in every possible way because that would have been my obligation, but holy **** what a life-altering **** storm when it's already a foregone conclusion that the poor kid was going to never live with both parents, that she would of course battle custody every possible way forever, etc.

At that time I would rather she hit me with the car than that. Totally not joking.
