Like u literally said it like haha I made her put her stupid trend shoes back bc I think the trend is dumb. That's not a brag, as a father. Makes u sound like a dick.

And if you only buy shoes bc theyre practical and you need them, I feel sorry for you

fashion accessory! the female version of beats headphones!!

She also wants a puppy. She's not getting that either. I told her when she's out and on her own she can get as many puppies as she wants.

Meanwhile, she has a guinea pig to care for.

Children test their boundaries. You're supposed to say no to them.

Comparing a puppy to a pair of shoes is a joke and you know it. One is a reflection of her personality and the other is a ****ing giant pain in the ass.

Like get real yo. You're grasping at straws! She also wants a puppy so she can't have the shoes that she wants to express herself. Lolyou glglglgll

Why? I prefer to make intelligent decisions with my money.

My wife and I aim to teach our kids to be the same way.

live a little, babyyyyy

Teach her to care for her shoes well imo if you're hell bent on teaching her some kind of pseudo lesson. Cramping her style is probably the worst parenthood idea I can think of. Fine, if it's a mini skirt with her butt cheeks hanging out the bottom, whatever, but gladiator sanalds? Don't be a turd.

Whats the ppint in having money if youre nOt happy with the things you have? Maybe you should worry about some personal aspects before whether she buys brand names or not after you're in the ground

You never really know a person until you walk a mile in their Gladiator sandals.

As parents, my wife and I tell our kids what is appropriate clothing.

Things like heels, short skirts and low cut blouses are some of the things that don't fly in my house for a 12 year old.

And she's learning to adjust her expectations.

You realize she grows out of these things after a season.

Who's not happy?

Spending money doesn't equal happy

Maybe she means this to be playful teasing, but it seems pretty uncivil to me. How's about we leave the parenting decisions to the actual parents.

Jesus, that was way overboard, maudlin to the point of parody. Take it down a few notches, Thailand.

Just wait for the Cockout trend of Autumn 15.

Also, did I live blog being stuck in Kiev airport? The groups of UK football fans were as uniformed a clan as the orthodox Jews and the turkmenistanis, and who knows who else.

I watched Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy on Netflix, the newish movie not the 80s miniseries. I only knew what was going on cause I read the book decades ago.
Yeah, it was disappointing. Tv series of Smileys People's pretty solid though

Speaking of TTSS, it's amazing how old Gary Oldman is now. Seems like only yesterday he was Sid Vicious in Sid and Nancy.

The great Joe Strummer with the theme:
