But wtf is the air fryer? I googled recipes and it seems like it’s just an oven, but smaller... Is my oven an “air fryer”?
I think your oven is an air baker.

The texture comes out differently in air fryer compared to oven.

Only thing I make in ours is wings tho. I think the main thing my wife does in it is chicken breasts.

Do you love your wife's breasts?

Of course.

Why do you think I put up with her cooking?

Ariel Pink probably. I like his music a lot and he's supposed to be quite an experience live.

Edit: alternatively Red Hot Chili Peppers, Black Keys or Tame Impala.

my lyft driver today told me he was a life coach and a financial coach. i had to wonder how good of a life or financial coach he was if he was driving for lyft.

he gave me a lot of advice. none of it was good.

I'm great at giving spewing advice!

You're great at ignoring it!

My advice was strongly to NOT play the HP game...

Did you get the completely free 3 months of Mint Mobile I posted in this thread a couple weeks ago?

And I rarely agree with much of your tastes in TV shows. But I still enjoy reading your comments.

I rmc.

it was too hard to get the free 3 months. plus why would i when i already have the free internet from t-mobile?

but i do think i might have to get a phone. my tablet is hella old. and i can't really make calls on it.

i have some good advice for mark. stop drinking soda. in the last ~25 years i've probably had about 10 sodas. i used to drink them every day in high school. i've probably saved over 5k AND better health.
02-15-2020 , 03:13 AM
How was it too hard? You gave them your name, mailing address and email. It took 2 minutes. You put the sim into your tablet and get 3gb of free data every month (plus unlimited calling and texts if you used a phone). Zero commitment.

What's wrong with soda in moderation? BTW, in reference to your money comment, I agree. For example, I never order soda for my kids. I give them water (and they can sample my soda).

If I was in your financial situation, I would never drink soda or buy any of the crap that you do. I would shop Walmart and Costco.

i spent about 60k total over the last two years. even though i will make a crazy purchase like 10k bed. im pretty frugal.

this year i'll probably spend about 40k

What about the cruises? Those seem expensive, but totally worth it.
02-15-2020 , 09:33 AM
Cruises sound like my idea of hell.
02-15-2020 , 09:56 AM
I've never been on one, but it seems like an escape from reality for x-number of days. I think we could all use that every once in a while.
02-15-2020 , 10:30 AM
The one I went on was crazy fun.
And that included my gf at the time getting drunk and essentially running off from our group of friends and hiding from us.
So without that, it would have been amazing.

I've got a few bunch of pro cruise tips for drinking, so hit me up before you go.

the thing was we could just sit on out balcony or walk around the deck of the ship and the views are unbelievable. giant snow capped mountains, and we were close enough to see the waterfalls that covered them. and whales and whatever other sea creatures. and just the water itself too.

and we spent 3.5 days on the ship, and 3.5 days off of it hiking in some of the most beautiful country i've ever seen

I'd be worried the food would be insufficiently snooty for me. That and the other people.
02-15-2020 , 02:01 PM
Whales I'd definitely be up for. A few years ago we saw some dolphins that were far enough away that you were only just sure they weren't just big waves, and that was still electric.
02-15-2020 , 02:46 PM
most cruises have some really snooty food. some cruises are even designed around snooty food!

i hate people as much anyone, but i was so happy and excited to be seeing alaska that i didn't mind the other people too much. same thing happened to me in yosemite. it was so crowded! like disneyland. but the beauty was so magical that i didn't even mind the crowds.

but yeah, most cruises are probably not gonna be for you. maybe cruising around iceland, greenland, alaska, antarctica on a snooty food cruise you'd like.
