My minecraft update:
I'm trying to silence a horribly positioned blaze spawner that is effectively out in the open. I got a 7x7 cobblestone square under the spawn cage and a 7x7 square around the cage.
with ~ a dozen torches on top.

To stop it completely, I need the squares to be 9x9. I have to add one more row of cobblestone to each side. There are about 20 blazes guarding the thing.

Argh.

i manage to balance my minecraft - i don't play much of it, especially since i realised that an entire evening can vanish into it quite easily.

There was another game on the ipad, i forget what it was called but it had a space theme and the goal was to build production lines that would transmit atoms along a pipeline, and connect them to build and then deliver chemicals to an output. It was completely absorbing, and required quite a creative mindset, such that i decided i had to delete, purge, burn it lest I vanished into it and never returned.

Sleeping on an airbed in the living room tonight to try and ensure a good night's sleep before this interview for dream job tomorrow instead of the usual 2am reminder that baby Bloo has very healthy lungs.

kinda makes me feel like a child for some reason

maybe I'll stay up until 3am playing mario kart and totally defeat the point of this whole thing
