What passes for charisma in a political context is amazing. I guess it's a measure of how abhorrent most of the bastards are.

I have faith that the American people will collectively see through Trump's demagoguery, and yes he gives me a case of the European petticoat wearing vapors
I wish I shared your faith, but you can see right here on this page that Trump has a ridiculously large chance to be elected -- Mark K would vote for him over Clinton IN A SITUATION IN WHICH MARK'S PARTY WILL RETAIN CONTROL OG CONGRESS PRETTY MUCH NO MATTER WHAT. That should tell you all you need to know about American politics. It's not just *******s and morons cheering and voting for Trump, if push comes to shove some otherwise sane people will too.

If Trump actually gets elected - Then it might be time to look into that democracy and reconsider if it really is the best option.

On the other hand it could be fun to see how world politics would evolve without a superpower. Maybe Russia will regain some power.

That his chances are not zero is admittedly concern enough

There is nothing so satisfying as pour refrigerated cold water on your hot feet.

I am easily satisfied. Still it is true.

GG Umberto Eco, definitely my favourite semiologist.

But, kioshk is right - Trump is beyond the pale and is perceived as such by most people here in Australia (I think that is a fair generalisation).
Trump is only a possible future war criminal, Clinton is an actual war criminal.

That's true though, you've got several people vying to become war criminal in chief

yes! good call on the war criminal status.

after the shock i felt when bush2 became the president the first and second time, i wont be shocked again by "elections"

I've a Korean buddy that swears this helps him fall asleep. It was the first time I found out this was a thing.

In the (British!) summer I quite often run cold water over my feet last thing at night.

Hey, what's this I read about Britain potentially leaving the EU? It's up for a vote?

Smart commentators say it's currently a safe vote to stay in, but who knows what could happen.

What do I need to make to make decent fajitas?

Chicken
Guacamole (what do I put in this?)
Sour cream
Cheese
Anything else?
02-20-2016 , 01:21 PM
salsa
peppers/onions
lettuce

guacamole - this recipe always worked fine for me

I'd recommend Lancashire for cheese from what's easily available.
02-20-2016 , 01:26 PM
Lettuce???

You wacky Brits.
02-20-2016 , 01:34 PM
I think lettuce in tacos is standard, at least here, but not fajitas. But UK Mexican food is a real weak spot
02-20-2016 , 01:36 PM
don't use lettuce
02-20-2016 , 01:36 PM
Peppers?
02-20-2016 , 01:37 PM
just make tacos!

meat with seasonings, cilantro onion lime, soft corn tortilla

boom
02-20-2016 , 01:38 PM
the fajita plates here come with

peppers, onions, meat on hot plate

sour cream cheese lettue tomato on the side

and side of rice and beans

and awful flour tortillas

Over here we usually replace the sriracha with European weak sauce, and serve with a side order of defeat.
