Wow, yeah I could probably rock that a little hard. Maybe I'll check out the thread.

After posting that, I realized I shouldn't post it here because people may post spoilers and ruin the game, so I deleted it. But Nich's been accepting "phantom" entries from people not eligible to play, so maybe you should PM him an entry.

I am watching Kubrick's Lolita on YouTube. Such a fun movie, Peter Sellers is incredible in his small role and Shelley Winters nearly chews the scenery in all of hers.

Since we're not in that thread, I'll say that the recent documentary Facing Ali is interesting if you're into Ali or boxing history. Especially as far as the various physical appearances- and verbal acuity- of his past opponents. Some look like they lost to him once and never got a chance at a rematch- and still look honestly pissed about it. And some look like they hit the bottle immediately after Ali beat them and have never looked back.

Edit- was responding to gus's post - I don't think it will matter much

facing ali on the way, thx

I like Monsters Inc. I appreciate technical excellence. And I have a twelve year old. It should therefore not surprise you that I know every Pixar, including the shorts, pretty well.

Some time we can have the big debate about ranking the Pixars. My rankings are decidedly nonstandard. [hint: I am highly sensitized to the Disney influence, and significantly downgrade them since it started becoming more apparent.]

I like Kubricks films although I feel because I am not a film buff I am probably missing out on alot in comparison.

she's kind of chubby but she ain't no whale
02-05-2010 , 03:39 AM
That whatever weight she is carrying is worthy of comment is absurd.
Whether it is objectively correct or not.

I don't find it that absurd and she's a little thicker than I prefer
02-05-2010 , 03:51 AM
hmmm she looks fine to me.

almost all of these girls are reasonably attractive

I don't find any of them fat- you guys just like girls that are too skinny
02-05-2010 , 03:52 AM
well you next to a skinny girl would just look absurd so you have to like them bigger
02-05-2010 , 03:52 AM
Yeah I said it before, not a huge Lost fan. I'll force myself through the rest now that there's a new season.

Stuff I'm currently watching and enjoying Mentalist, Leverage, Sons of Anarchy. Breaking Bad was also pretty good. Don't think I'm watching any other show right now outside of comedy that I'd recommend
02-05-2010 , 03:53 AM
god i miss sons of anarchy. I can't wait until it's back on. Such an awesome show

In terms of movies — well, I guess I could do Lolita.

Won't matter if the ****ing router doesn't get over whatever's got it in a snit.
Yeah comedy wise Philly and CYE are my top two. I'm also looking forward to new episodes of Big Bang Theory, HIMYM drags on endlessly but I'm still watching it. Like 30 Rock as well.

I think for pretty much every comedy you'll need to watch at least 3-4 episodes to warm up to the characters. Some people I know didn't fall in love with Philly untill the second season (S1 is pretty short though)

the really funny thing is that you'd probably think mick was overweight if you didn't like her

Not touching that one.
