no I was curious if it was a decent movie though(iirc rotten tomatoes was not a fan)

It seems they spent an insanse amount of money on advertising for it since I saw previews in every movie from a year+ before it was released.

The trailer looked good, but we all know that it doesn't mean the movie is necessarily good as well. I will report back friday evening, though my taste in movies might not be that representatitive when I think about what was posted about movies here.

it was okay. okay-good.

it is not a special effects blockbuster, even tho it's a sci-fi, so you'll be disappointed if yr expecting matrix/transformers/what-have-you.

i don't know where the script comes from, but it's more like a "based on a sci-fi short story" than a "based on a novel" script.

yea i hate this

did not have that happen w/ surrogates, but did w/ sherlock holmes. like, it's summer, and they're floating this "comes out at xmas" movie

somehow that one managed to deliver despite the preview overload. just saw this weekend. A+ Downey/Law

It's based on a graphic novel and in the short text I have here it says that the style is comparable to Minority Report

So Sherlock Holmes is good? I plan to watch it when it comes out here

Really want to see it.

gotta convince the GF though since we got a gift certificate to the theater for xmas and I can't pay for a movie when I have a gift certificate for it.
