I think it would be integral to carry over stuff from this thread, ie toasts in OP so that they are always easy to find. But its kinda ghey to have to copy stuff from last months thread all the time into a new month but I don't think they should be lost.

I don't actually follow the NFL, so I really have no idea what I'm talking about and I was just making a joke. But, as it is a requirement of any good sports discussion, I feel I must defend my previous comment to the furthest extreme possible, and so I will subtly move the goal posts by noting that while NE might in fact be a superior franchise (key word: franchise), they did not in fact look like it last night, hence my obvious confusion.

To clarify: the reason the Pub thread is OK is a combination of (1) it has games in it, and (2) it's not the community thread. We haven't been doing so well with the games, so I am thinking that if we're otherwise in equipoise we should do what we can to distinguish it from community. It's a good faith thing: after the initial brouhaha, I think the mods were pretty flexible about the interpretation of the rules, and I think it incumbent on the rest of us to do our part.

I'm with Alice, that I don't like to let go. But imo the list of things that are going to have to be copied and pasted eventually is going to be cumbersome (or at least I hope it would).

Right now toasts are all the rage but I hope in 3 months, we have something totally different that is equally as cool.

the toasts are great, but they are in the OP for this thread. anyone who wants the november toasts or any other november goodness can go back to the november pub thread. the december lunacy and whatever is the rage this month can go in the december thread an so forth. moving on to the next month's but thread does not mean all these posts will be deleted

If the toasts don't move over we should all do new ones imo. Also, I wonder if it wouldn't be better to do these quarterly instead of monthly. If we do that then I'd restart Jan 1 just to make it easy going forward. Or we can have the december one be for Dec/jan/Feb and be the "Winter 2009/2010 pub".

Conditions:
The bed is the big thing on the diagram.
The small square is a night stand that needs to be near the bed.
The single rectangle is a bookshelf.
The double rectangles is a desk that can pivot to possibly fit in a corner. They need to stay together.
The circles are power outlets that I need near my desk.
The doors can't have anything infront of them (no trapping me inside my room)
