You can't force people to post in the community thread and become part of it. But if they are a part of pog long enough, they will eventually grow to it. I'm not one of the people that feel like they don't belong in the community thread, I post in there regularly.

But my point is that restricting other members in hopes of not wanting separation is only going to cause more separation.

I still don't see a problem

POG Pub - random chat/hangout with organised mini games and impromptu games

Community - Serious things like Job updates, theoretical physics and baby pictures.

People who post in Community atm have said they'd post in a pub thread, and with that interaction with the "older-by-join-date" crowd, the people who currently don't feel comfortable (like myself) posting in Community would feel more welcomed and willing to post

The making it monthly vs ongoing is

to me
