Google getting pfizer after J&J. It's an option a group of people are advocating and have done.

Remember, that first strand was bad, but this Delta Variant is significantly worse. I can't even imagine what the next mutation does.

It's going to do a tapdance number to music from 'Cats' as it prepares to enter your body so you know that it's there, then it's going to finish you off so quickly you just drop stone dead. Bodies will be stacked up everywhere like cordwood, those lucky enough to have some type of immunity will be clawing out their eardrums in horror.

I'm sick for the first time since corona, though probably not with the rona. (maybe)

Anyone know anything about the various tests you buy from walgreens?
08-27-2021 , 11:42 AM
Fever? As I understand it, that's the first big symptom.
08-27-2021 , 12:09 PM
if i get sick i don't plan on getting tested. i'll just act as if i have it and stay home. but i like staying home anyway. and i live alone, so isolating is no big deal

good luck pwns

No noticeable fever. I heard loss of taste and smell were first.

Yeah I don't care much about knowing if I got it other than pure intrigue

As I understand it, there's no reliable timeline of Covid symptoms. It really varies from person to person.

I thought many vaxxed corona people don't lose taste or smell. But most run an early fever. At least according to google.

If you lose taste or smell, there is no need to get tested. You caught it imo.

Is it possible to lose just taste or smell and not both? I thought they were pretty well intertwined.
08-27-2021 , 03:55 PM
I think you can with the ligma variant

idk but I've seen other places use 'or'

Wow. It's been half a week and nobody (not even I) has mentioned or commented on the death of a real legend of rock and roll. Charlie Watts was a big part of the Rolling Stones success and longevity. His subtle style perhaps kept the spotlight off him, but his steady groove kept the wildness of Richards and Jagger in line. Like Ringo Starr, most casual listeners didn't realize just how good he was. Other drummers knew, however, and both of these men were major influences on the next generation.

Is it time for the Stones to finally hang it up? Maybe. Probably. It won't be the same without that English gentleman behind the kit. RIP Charlie Watts.

My lunch today isn't anything special, but it turned out rather pretty, so I snapped a pic anyway.

Base is black beans and garlic lime quinoa, topped with fresh sweet corn, a yellow bell pepper, cherry tomatoes, green onions, cilantro and a chipotle dressing.

I'm a big fan of adding cilantro to salad. I do it somewhat regularly as my way to actually use up cilantro
08-28-2021 , 05:52 PM
does anyone besides me use less than 150 kilowat hours a month?

how much do you all use?

sometimes i use 200, but usually less than 150.

my laptop is on all the time. but i rarely turn on the lights or anything else
08-28-2021 , 06:27 PM
I'm about 600 kwh/month No A/C
08-28-2021 , 07:22 PM
I have no idea since I can only easily see how much the bill is, not kwh.

Pretty sure it's more than 150 though.
