It tends to be the kids who drive the tractors around here. They bomb through the middle of town the village in tractors that are >1 story high. The law in the uk is 17 to drive a car but 16 (I think) is ok for a tractor license. So you sometimes see these kids driving a tractor out to get the milk & newspaper.

1 highway 0 city?

technically it's only legal to drive a tractor on the roads if it's for agricultural purposes, like getting from one field to another via the roads. Popping to the shops for milk doesn't count.

The reason I know is because of a 16 year old driving his tractor to school everyday until he was compelled to stop because of this law.

In other news, I now own a quad bike. It's not a tractor but it's on the way.

I was playing a poker tournament at a hotel (sounds more glamorous than it was) and i ordered a coffee. They go to this coffee dispenser and pour out a small cup of pre made black coffee. They tell me its free, im like ok thats nice.

Then about two minutes later they find me and tell me the coffee actually costs £4.50. I just couldnt believe it. Ive never paid anywhere near that for any coffee let alone one that was poured from a warmed up batch made however long ago.

Anyway first world problems and all that.

Filthy would've tipped the extra £5.5.

I've worked in a handful of casinos and where I am now is the only place that offers free food to its employees, so I dont complain about the choices or quality of food.

But now I'm complaining. Today is chicken cordon bleu (the premade, frozen variety) which is a highlight of the menu. They offer it about once every ten days and they always run out. So I'm eating some kind of beef stew on chicken cordon bleu day.
