Kerbal Space Program update:

I took my Duna rover from the Duna Polar highlands down a valley that's in perpetual shadow. I needed to across it to get in the sunlight to charge my rover's solar cells. It took a few tries (err "simulations") to successfully make the traverse.

I started at the 10.5km mark in the picture. The area off the picture to the right is mostly in the sunlight. Notice how low in the sky the sun is at the pole.

Just found out today that both of the employees I supervise are retiring before years end. Essentially removing my entire department and forcing me to hire, train, and bring up to speed two new employees in a quarter into a highly specialized career type.

No, I'm waiting until my daughter comes back from her father's for the summer. I turned her into the series last year, thought we should go together. She gets back the week before IT comes out so we'll probably go that weekend and make it a double feature

I think that oot thread about pit bulls has gotten to me. Just walked my dog and came across one and was pretty scared something would go wrong.

dont know **** about that thread, but pitbulls are dangerous animals. i had one. he was insanely strong and would go into frenzies(when playing). but luckily he was the sweetest dog i ever knew. never bit anyone.... except this really stupid cat who picked our porch to hang out on. "hey, this house has a pitbull. i think i'll take a nap on the porch"
