I certainly understand that. Personally, I just don't spend much time at home when I'm not working. I'd usually rather be outside. And even when working I prefer to do it somewhere outside as well, or at a coffee shop if I am able.
The real value for me is being able to be flexible with time and space when it comes to work. Also being able to have my setup exactly how I want it is nice. I could never have the setup I do in an office. I could never travel in the way that I do. Could not do my side gigs. I'm not a family man and I live alone, so the separation of home space and work space is meaningless to me. My home space is a place to sleep, cook food and store my gear
