If there's one thing most Americans feel more strongly about than how the "other" political party is wrong, it's probably related to how American ideals are right by definition

I think there's even a term for it!

Which is part of why I think in most cases the concept of “terrible people” is seriously overused, but w/e
This post is not really related but a continuance sorta.

There was a reddit post on relationship and someone devastated their husband or wife of a long time came out as trans and they broke up. Maybe the post was antitrans propoganda but people were discussing wether the person was a bad person /deceitful or their actions because of societal norms or whatever.

Someone posted a psych (lol psych) vid of the way we judge peoples actions, if someone cuts you off is it because you are a terrible person or because they maybe missed their exit or didn't see you or had an emergency or whatever. I can't find the video and think it's probably a false dichotomy between the two, but lots of times we do the first.

But you forgot that to mention that 1/3 of the Supreme Court was, in addition to being nominated by a guy who lost the popular vote, would also be confirmed by a “majority” of senators representing a minority of the population while being opposed by a “minority” of senators representing a majority of the population
and some bush judges are on there too, and he also lost the popular vote, and possibly even the electoral college one too! lol

I take hits on openness due to lack of creative imagination. Doesn't seem fair.

Well, I didn’t really ask for the trauma that gave me complex PTSD, but I’m medicated now and healthy. There are just certain things I can’t get back, like trust and seeing the best in people, and I have to live with that the best I can.

I’m guessing such low negative personality means very little depression/anxiety

yeah i don't really have anxiety over much if anything.

this judge i worked with a lot when i was a new attorney used to say that i didn't have the wiring for stress..

of course he also said that i was the most likely new attorney he tutored to either a) become him, and/or b) end up in front of him as a defendant...
