the reason we don’t have universal healthcare is because a bunch of politicians fight hard to make sure we don’t. the least AOC could do is fight back

maybe say pelosi is unfit to hold office because pelosi opposes medicare for all. and refuse to vote for pelosi or anyone who opposes medicare for all. and round up all her allies to do the same, and rally the public.

Of all the technology Czars, at least Musk is using his money to push technology and massively disrupt the current powers that be.

Yea it was baffling that AOC et al were not even willing to force a vote on Medicare for All. It was a straightforward plan that would have forced Pelosi to support the bill, look bad opposing the bill, or cede power to the republicans rather than even allowing a vote on a popular policy.

The progressive bloc had an unequivocal choice between helping the left wing of the party and potentially the people or falling in line with the Democratic establishment.

Unlike Bird I have a soft spot for people like AOC that are kind of the furthest left people trying to do anything, but now that she and the Dems actually have the power to do things, it seems like she isn't interested just as we already knew Biden and the rest of the establishment wouldn't be.
