Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren have spent the most money on private Jets out of the candidates so when they aren't actually that worried about the planet

How many people itt have solar panels on their house? With incentives at worst you'll break even. If the worry about the planet was so important you all would

Lol wrong.

Solar panel installation costs upward of 10k for an average household and that’s after the tax incentives. Try again, Chumbo.
02-05-2020 , 11:23 PM
mets is never wrong

In many cases you can rent then for free and the company gets to keep the extra electricity
02-05-2020 , 11:32 PM
I learned a lot about flipping houses to smart and green energy, they sell for more $, and even the pros haven’t figured out a way to make installing solar cost effective.

You can “rent” your roof to a solar company but the solar company technically becomes a commercial tenant. It’s a whole different kind of mess. A scam, some might say! You can’t sell your house with a commercial tenant, and you can’t get rid of the commercial tenant unless you pay them for whatever costs they incurred installing the solar panels that they haven’t recouped yet- typically thousands of dollars. It takes ~25 years otherwise.

Mets, does your ass ever get jealous of all the **** that comes out of your mouth? You must know google is just one new tab away... right?

https://news.energysage.com/free-sol...s-really-free/

I researched it and almost pulled the trigger. The way my house faces I could have used solar for 90%+ of my electricity. But yes I wouldn't own the panels, I had to agree to keep them for 20 years even if the house was sold, and my electric bill isn't that high and Rutland have saved me enough too make me do it

I still may do it because of the environment but I don't think it's a crisis

Like, you understand that if it were actually that easy everyone would rent their roofs to solar companies?

Or if the government actually subsidized the cost of installing solar that people would be switching over en masse for free electricity?

I wonder why that’s not happening!

Get back to us when you have a spare 20k to install solar on your house, Chumbo.

Or when you mortgage your roof for 20 years to a mega corp. I bet that will turn out super well.

I just said I researched it and decided it wasn't worth it for me for many of those reasons but if switching to solar will save the planet we should all be doing it right?

Ok you're awesome I'm dumb and I'm not going to stoop to taking to you like youre a peace of **** like your doing to me but you shouldn't complain about birdman

I'm sorry for dumbing up your thread. Good night

What could go wrong leasing your roof for a 20 year contract to a commercial tenant. It’s “free”!
02-05-2020 , 11:44 PM
You’re the genius who thinks it’s a big moral indictment of the average person that they can’t afford solar panels. Gtfo.

i give people my left over solar panels. i don't wanna give them cash cuz im scared of what they might do with it.

BTW, this philosophy also works well with relatives.

People only want cars because we built roads. Induced demand.

Much like the rest of capitalism, people act like roads are just a permanent aspect of existence. There are plenty of other ways to make transportation that is cheaper, safer, and much better for the environment and the user. Those ways just don’t make the kind of profits that roads and cars make for Exxon, Ford, etc.

The environment is being destroyed because it’s profitable for capitalists. Plain and simple. Individual actions or choices by consumers is literally never going to solve the problem. Even if putting solar panels on your roof somehow became economically feasible that isn’t going to do ****.

The earth is a finite environment and capitalism is a system predicted on growth that never stops. Capitalism can never provide a sustainable economy.

Most liberals are so slack jawed that Pelosi’s performative, totally empty and useless gestures are enough to distract them from the fact that she approved his 750 billion dollar defense budget, voted to extend his patriot act, etc. She supports and enables donald trump in every way that matters. Liberals just need any excuse they can to keep supporting the Democratic party because they are white supremacists in need of cover.
02-06-2020 , 01:59 AM
lol!! white supremacists in need of cover! lol!! i love birdman!!! oh man, that cracks me up!

i don't think "white supremacist" is the right term though.... i think that term should be used for people who want to benefit white people at the expense of other people. many liberals are not white, and so even if their actions are propping up white people(generally speaking) at the expense of people who are not white... i don't think it's desired or intended. and obviously plenty of white people don't feel that way either even though they are idiotically cheering on pelosi for ripping up a speech.
02-06-2020 , 02:02 AM
so maybe "unintentional white supremacists" is a better term

that's a good undertitle for eyebooger

btw, this **** in iowa is nuts. it seems like dnc or someone straight up tried to cheat with the vote counts, but twitter busted them, and they had to put "corrections for the errors" and currently bernie and pete are basically tied. at least until someone proves more cheating votes for pete

im shocked! the candidate who supports the cia and the military is somehow getting extra votes from cheating?!?!?! lol!
