I know. I'm holding out hope for a hero. Someone who will run on court packing, gerrymandering, and legislation pushing at any cost. Take every democratic policy that polls at 60% or higher and push it through no matter what once they have all three branches. Pack the court and get as many cases in front of them that they will decide to hold things steady for as long as possible.

Norms are dead. If we try to restore them before fixing what has happened the last three years, then we are dumb as ****.

Fwiw, I feel this every day. Like I have personally failed the women in my life despite having little control over what is happening in Washington. As a whole, we as men have 100% failed women.

I'm disgusted and distraught. And I'm sorry we haven't done better.

Master3004, that is noble of you but it is probably 80% of the men who are failing women, and 30% of the women who are failing women.

Yes, men have a huge role to play, but it is incredible how many women just outright didn't believe Dr. Ford, and how many women unconditionally support Trump. To see Trump publicly mocking Dr. Ford was disgusting. To see women in the background clapping, well that was really disturbing.

So, perhaps the saddest part is that women in the US cant really mobilize as a group for a quick and overwhelming change, because some of the women just are not on your side Crossnerd.

And that may be even a scarier thought than how bad the men are...
