I don't know. I do know that Obama didn't tweet out any statement in all caps.

I know he removed sanctions and paid them billions of they promised not to be bad and make nukes and we could inspect them any time we wanted as long as we gave 60 days notice
07-23-2018 , 10:49 AM
when you think about it, that tweet is already a consequence the likes of which few throughout history have ever suffered before.

.
Mets is making an allusion to a famous quote that Ahmendinajad never said about Israel.

I like the part in this thread where two people quoted this post and neither one either found a source for the "wipe the US off the map" threat, nor articulated an appropriate response if that had actually happened.

Sorry I didn't clip off the part of your post I didn't have any need to respond to.

There is no wipe the us off the map quote same as it was never said about israel.

The one I quoted? Where you say "I'm not making this up, look at the results of this poll'?

DPRK has developed nukes, the family has and will hold on to power for a long time and their public perception is still that they're essentially a joke. In 15 years everyone will have forgot about the things with Trump and they'll do it again with the new guy and won't give anything up then either. I disagree with pretty much everything they're doing, expect their people to be living much unhappier lives but for pure machiavellian reasons, they might be the smartest run country in the world.

Trump tweet definitely. Care to answer my question?
07-23-2018 , 12:00 PM
im not sure what an appropriate response is but trump isnt going to cater to what you or anyone else thinks is appropriate

ive conceded trump is immature and acts like a bully and when he feels threatened in any way he threatens back 10fold

is that what you are trying to get me to concede, because i think everyone in the world knows this
07-23-2018 , 12:00 PM
im not sure why you would fear a trump tweet more than iran though

thats weird

Since WW2 the imperialism of the US has been responsible for killing millions of people through warfare so even without considering who the current president is, it's very natural to be skeptical of them.

Iran on the other hand has an economy smaller than Belgium's, they probably aren't going to waltz into Times Square anytime soon.

IRAN GDP is almost 400 billion
NORTH KOREA GDP is 12 billion

and people were scared of north korea but we have nothing to worry about with iran
07-23-2018 , 12:37 PM
I don't think anyone else beside you here was scared of North Korea, there might be a pattern here.

""North Korea is an example of a country that is so far out of the international norms and so disconnected with the rest of the world," Mr Obama said.

"North Korea is a real threat. Our view has always been that we would prefer to resolve these issues peacefully," he said. "

I don't give a **** as he was one of those warmongering presidents responsible for killing a ton of people I was alluding to. No North Korean soldier has stepped onto the territory of another country since the 50s, no country has invaded the US since the 40s, you should join everyone else in realityland.

I still don’t understand what part of that post you think is not accurate

this feels like you're being deliberately obtuse

is anyone else having the slightest difficulty in understanding me?

Like I say, it’s complicated.

I’m definitely rooting against him, because he’s an abhorrent pos who represents all that’s wrong about America and nothing that’s right and I want to see him reduced to the cautionary tale for children he deserves to be. How that’s achievable without people not named trump or in his circle paying a price, it’s trickier to say.

It seems like Birdman has been getting owned so hard that he reduced himself into setting up some linguistic traps that he'll drag out as long as possible because he's kinda insufferable like that and all this will culminate with a fizzle instead of a grand slam ownage.

I'm more afraid of the 5 minute drive back to work I'm about to embark on than I am of Iran.

Trump's tweets show the whole world what our country elected. They're ruining (in concert with his actions) the country's image all across the world. It could take a generation to fully recover from this.
