WTF is wrong with these ppl?
I don't remember who it was who said, "If they were socially competant at all, they wouldn't be using a dating website," but these are the people he was talking about.

I find it hilarious that the staff photo I posted has led to this becoming the OOT Men's Fashion Thread.

Just shaved with my new Merkur Futur. Used the AoS preshave, canned shaving cream and Nivea soft non alcohol aftershave.
The Futur is an adjustable 1-6 (you can put it in any position in between though). 1 is the least dangerous while 6 has been described as "approaching barber knife". I went with two passes with the grain. First on 1, second on 2. Loved it then I got greedy and tried one against the grain on 3. Didn't go so well and I aborted the mission.
Quite happy I got the Alum, lol.

moar on this theme:

So i went to The Body Shop in the mall and got this Woody Sandalwood Perfume Oil. It comes in a little tiny bottle, no atomizer, $16. I am totally addicted to this stuff now. I put some on just to lay around reading. It's a scent good for men or women, though the lady who sold it to me absolutely assumed that I was getting it for someone else. It has notes of spice, clove, and of course sandalwood. A little sweetness to it. Awesome stuff. I feel pretty.

clown, haha, I haven't even attempted against the grain yet. yesterday I did a pass across the grain and got a few nicks for my trouble.

and hitch, it's a styptic pencil, not a septic.

Random other shaving notes:
- The supposedly scentless AoS preshave oil smells a little like clay. Not a lot but a little bit.
- The Omega Sapone de barba smells like a standard bar of soap. But in a nice way.
- The "Mr Taylor" from Taylor of Old Bond Street smells amazing eventhough I cannot say what it smells like

hopefully my brush will arrive tomorrow

my badger brush arrived last evening. i was warned that right out of the box it can smell a bit like a wet badger which it did, so I soaked it overnight and that scent is gone.

i just whipped up a pot of lather with Taylor's Avocado. The scent is very light, you can just barely get a whiff of the avocado in it.

But the lather.

Even on my first try I whipped up a nice batch. It was creamy and full and coated and lubricated wonderfully. For the first time ever, I do not have any skin discoloration on my head after shaving it. I'll not use goo out of a can again.

I also shaved my head with the Merkur one pass with the grain. No problems, quite a good shave. I have to work a bit on my left-handed technique.

Serious Question for Canadians....

How difficult is ot to become a Canadian citizen. If I did would I still be entitled to health benefits even if I enetr the country sick?

It's difficult to become a citizen if you're not able to convince them you're a refugee of some sort. I'm not sure how the health care works - they definitely have to provide emergency care. But don't let the "free health care" fool you - it's only basic care that's free. A lot of stuff still requires private insurance.

So Canada having free health care is an invention by the liberal media to make us all hate America. I knew it.

No. It's just oversold there, like it is here.

Funny fact: The US government spends more per capita on Healthcare than Canada.
