yeah cpfb. But at least it was a good game. The U-17s OTOH played keepaway for the last 10 minutes + 2 stoppage for a draw against NZ since a draw was enough to push them both thru to the rd of 16. Fans were leaving in the 87th or thereabouts.

edit: tactically, undoubtedly the right move, but if you're gonna do that, why not do it from the kickoff?

Diesel = ? Where I come from Diesel = lager, cider blackcurrent juice mix.

In retrospect, perhaps reno was a better answer for this question than someone who worries about whether his girlfriend would make a good parent, can't buy clothes without asking his friends for advice, and thinks 3 hot dogs or whatever it was is a lot.?

To be fair, OTI also got his teeth knocked out in a pseudo barfight and has a story about running around the block naked for cash that still makes me laugh when thinking of it.

The MSPaint of the route gets me every time.

I wish. We ended up with probably about 25 minutes worth of music. We recorded the Symphonic Dances from West Side Story and that took the longest by far. We started at 9 AM and didn't finish with that piece until 5 PM with a 1.5 hour lunch break and 2 short breaks to change the tapes.

The reason it took so long was because there were some people that 1) don't know how to count to 3, 2) don't know how to sit still, 3) don't know how to play their easy parts when a soloist makes a perfect take, or 4) some combination of 1, 2, or 3.

It was very frustrating to sit through people ruining take after take. We ended up going over by almost an hour because there were so many gaffes like above.

I'm hoping that the final product ends up being awesome, but yesterday was like pulling teeth.

add blackcurrent makes it pinkish (obv) so it's called diesel because they dye diesel fuel pink. EZ game. It's also called snakebite and black sometimes.

Dunno what coke + lemonade would be called, probably an abomination or something.

Snakebite always automatically came with blackcurrant wherever I had it. Must be a regional thing.

Today's pickings:

LHS is pak choi and watercress (both given to us by the incomprehensible but lovely chinese lady down the way), middle are arran pilots which are delish, RHS is rhubarb/broad beans/Kailaan.

You get a different breed in Milton Keynes...

Most of my snakebite drinking was done in the West Country. Very few places in North Bucks will serve a snakebite. All the places near clubs know they can't get away with serving them and you aren't going to be drinking snakebites unless your evening plan consists of getting absolutely wrecked and going to a club.

Uni was different. You could get a snakebite for £1.20 a pint or you could get a double vodka snakebite made with 9% cider for £3. I miss student drinks deals. I do not miss the mornings after an evening of double vodka snakebites.

I didn't know non-American beer was this popular in the US.

I'm about to buy a used car from a private seller. http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/2463320362.html

How much trouble can I (or him) get into by listing the price lower on the title so I can get a break on the sales tax.

We could easily do something reasonable like 4-5k or could I list it as $1?

Thoughts?

This is one of those situations where you takes your chances. I've been involved in title xfers in Ohio that were officially for $1, although probably nothing as swanky as an $8k car. No one ever said anything.

Sales tax is %6.75 so thats $500 for the car.

Ridiculous that they charge for that. So dumb.

When I just did mine a couple of months ago (in Texas), they figured out the sales tax based on the value of the car (from blue book or black book maybe). Not exactly sure, but the price I paid was virtually the same as the amount that was taxed.

edit: Just looked it up and in Texas, you pay tax on either the amount you paid or the "Standard Presumptive Value" which is determined by TxDOT. You pay the higher amount obviously.

Ohio may have a similar law in which case, it doesn't matter the listing price as long as it's lower than the Standard Presumptive Value.

some states don't use the title sales price, they use something like blue book value. I can't tell from the Ohio website whether they do or don't

I feel like listing the price as $1 is more or less begging to be charged with fraud but I have no idea whether they enforce it.

I just ran that car through the Texas database and it says that the car is only worth 5k

That'd be $325 worth of tax

Maybe it's just me, but it seems like that car isn't worth 8k. I don't really know what I'm talking about though.
