well I've done 225 for 3x5 reps. But I've also done 135 for 3x5 at press.
This is a common theme I notice here and at H&F. Everyone's squat numbers are proportionally much higher than their bench and press numbers than mine. Before break I did 195 at 3x5 on Bench.
My conclusion is that I am perfect and you guys are all weak in your upper body. This may or may not be correct.
In reality I think it's because I used to be a bench monkey, then even when I started doing lower body, I never did SS per se. So my programming has been slightly different than yours, so I think there are slight strength differences. It may also be genetic. I've always had broad shoulders so I may just naturally have a slightly stronger upper body compared to my lower body. Or I could just be a pussy in my lower body (esp given that it hasn't gotten nearly as much work over the years as the upper body).
