So guys I posted about my problem running in the PUB. It continues to bother me. I was wondering if it could have to do with my arch and my shoe or the hard surface of the treadmill. Now that it is getting warmer I want to go outside and run but I don't want to get 15 minutes away then have the start walking. Either way, there is a specialty store a short ways away. I can go there and see what shoes they recommend. When I drove by a few months ago, I saw they were offering free foot exams. Not like podiatry but underpronator and all that good stuff. I have never had good stamina. When I was younger I was always the worst performer on the presidential fitness test. In the grade schools they would make you run the entire time even though it was nearly impossible for me and the other out of shape youngsters.

But now, running is something I am better at and I am hoping to build up my endurance so I can perform aptly at sports and other activities. Running isn't something that is necessarily helpful for poker but it sure is rewarding both physically and mentally. I am not the kind of person that says they get a "running high". I will stick to illegal drugs for that, thank you very much. Not sure what the norms are for drug use and running but I am sure there are people out there who use drugs for running. Weight lifting is something that people use performance enhancing drugs for more often. I would never take something like that because it is for the lazy but they exist. I think I am going to try to eat more for the next month or so and continue to lift. Then I can run for a month. I need to read the Health and Fitness forum later.
