Building a Case against Sixfour in the last 10 minutes before lynch

This isn't really my case, it's soah's - but soah never elaborated about why he thought sixfour was a wolf. It was definitely a "flow of the game" thing though because his comment came out of the blue. On soah's comment I read sixfour, and the following posts stood out. I will point out the "non-flow-of-the-game" posts I found wolfy, then highlight the two posts soah called sixfour out on (theoretically, at least). Soah might have remembered previous posts but I think there was just one thing sixfour did that triggered soah's outburst.

Reasons why I think sixfour could be a wolf

i hate this post, it's basically got no content and is just trying to push on the wagon. i'm not sure what this means for wahoo, but it's wolf points for button imo
"that's possible"
"imo"

these are the words of an uncertain player.

** THESE ARE WHAT TRIGGERED SOAH'S "LYNCH SIXFOUR SOON" (reading soah's mind...soah never elaborated, but I'm fairly sure this is why) **

this is possibly what caused soah to write a quick post. These two posts are timestamped the same so I'm not sure if soah actually saw it before he said lynch sixfour soon, but it could have been an insta-reaction.

the reason here is the phrase "I definitely want to go" - this is wolf speak. It's too elaborate. Like the rest of sixfour's posts I quoted, sixfour is too elaborate and careful in this game. This is sort of both a generic wolf tell combined with a sixfour read.

The usual english is "I will vote 1982 tomorrow // I want to lynch g1982 tomorrow"

Wolf-speak is "oh okay, my plan is that I definitely want to go after g1982 tomorrow"

Look, z was here for EOD yesterday. He's not today.
He didn't say "I won't be back."

Isn't this a wolf in don't spew mode?

I'm not sure if sixfour actually followed up on this wolfy statement by going after g1982 today, I don't have enough time to check

what I do know is that he's voting mrsbuttons, a traditionally very easy target to get lynched

The day had started poorly, with the death of Soah. But somehow, normality came back. The events of the morning have not been mentioned with anyone’s voice all day. But mentioned all too much with looks and twitches, accusing eyes and shuffling feet.

Surely everyone knew this was going to be tough, but no-one expected this to have gotten so serious. So serious so early.

Once again, you had taken it upon yourself to be the voice of reason in the darkness of confusion that swirled around your team, in this desperate hour. You had spent the day talking to each of your team mates in depth about whom they felt was the traitor within. Once again, it had fallen upon you to tell the outcast his fate.

Some civility had evaporated this morning. Something lost from each of you, never to return. Where once there was a staunch feeling of morality, now yearned a chasm, black as Satan himself. Soah’s death had changed the game.

You alone seemed to desire simply winning the race, and nothing of revenge, but the mob had ruled. They had rejected your suggestion of simply telling the traitor he had to leave your party, opting instead, to a man, to throw him overboard into the icy water. Only you seemed to realise that this was an act of murder.

With this load bearing on you, you decide to go into zhaorx’s cabin to try and find something, anything that could tell you about this fellow for whom the cold watery grave awaited.

Quickly you make your way across the ship to the cabin of the damned, and gently open the door. It was empty. You see zhaorx’s bag open on the floor, and quickly shut the door before reaching into it. Within seconds the bag is empty and it’s contents lay strewn across the floor and bed. Nothing, just survival equipment and clothes.

As you begin to search the rest of the cabin, you hear a commotion begin on the deck above. You clearly recognise some of the voices as members of your team. You start to hurry.

On a desk in the corner of the room you notice a small piece of paper and a pen, and there on the paper is a hand-written note. You hold it up to the lantern so you can read it. It reads-

“Dear Mother,

These last two days have been hard. Harder than I ever knew days could be. But I can assure you that I believe we will win this race, and then all our troubles will be over.

Never have I seen someone willing to go to such lengths. Murderous lengths to achieve their goals.

This morning..”

SMASH!

A foot comes flying through the window. Shards of glass scatter through the cabin. At first you freeze. Then you realise who the foot belongs too as you hear other members of your team shouting, ‘This is for Soah you traitorous bastard!’.

The foot appears to take on a life of it’s own, clambering for grip. Searching this way, then that for purchase. Ever increasing in it’s futile endeavour.

Then the foot drops, followed by a leg, then the rest of zhaorx. His face seems to float past the window slower than the rest of him, and even though you know it can’t be true, it feels like he sees you, and hates you on the way to the waves.

You continue reading,
“This morning they killed Soah, and all day I have wept whenever I am alone. I cannot trust anyone, and they do-not trust me.

But do not fear for me mother, I will be ok, and it will all be worth it in the end.

zhaorx’.

He was one of you, and you feel sick.

You despise this boat, and long for tomorrow when finally you will feel the snow beneath your feet.

Finally you will leave this boat of death.

But for now, another night on this ship of mortal fears looms.

You lie, awake, on your bunk, praying for sleep.

This was hardly the preparation you wanted before you even reached the start line. A restless night, elongated by lack of any meaningful sleep, and what sleep did come was wracked with dreams of death and guilt.

And now you lie here before dusk, a strange combination of exhaustion and adrenaline fed nausea.

Not for the first time, you wonder if this is real or another wave of vivid dreams as the door to your cabin opens slowly.

Waiting to hear someone after the creak of the hinges, you finally call, ‘who is there?’

No answer.

The light is not enough to see anything beyond the shape of the open doorway, so you reach for the lamp, and quickly turn the dial that releases more kerosene onto the wick.

Immediately the room is awash with light. So much so that it makes you squint. But still there is no answer and no figure in the doorway.

Then you realise that what you thought was the rush of the wind against your window is a voice. Like a wild animal you attempt to focus on it, and block out the creak of the ship, and the howl of the wind and spray outside…

‘help me,’ barely discernable.

‘Who is that?’ you say, strongly, trying to disguise your actual feelings of vulnerability.

‘help me’ again.

Only then do you realise that the noise is coming from the floor, you lok down and there is Officedog, laid so low it is almost as if he is only half existing above the floorboards, and a portion of his body was below them. Then immediately you see the messy signature of blood over the door and frame, and behind Officedog leading out of the door.

‘Who did this to you?’ desperately falls from your mouth as you leap from your bed, and begin to cradle Officedog in your arms. All the while the blood seems to spread against gravity up your arms, up the walls, and over every surface in your vision as if the world were made of sponge.

Nothing.

The last piece of life escapes Officedog in your arms, and you can feel his essences seep away, through the floor, and away down the corridor in the blood trail that marked his death.
