nobody said that bad players couldn't qualify easily.
but the fact that there are minimum qualifications at all means that people may be more inclined to make more effort to win and be somewhat deterred from doing things that piss others off.
there are about 10 games a month, and i'm proposing that one of them be a PL game. i would hardly call that ringfencing out the riff raff.
for the record, i do not currently qualify for the PL. if a new player can't cope with the fact that he's excluded from PL games without having played a couple games first, then lol him.
Since this is the first time this has been bought up publicly (I believe), I'm inclined to give a warning for the time being.
However, if he subs out another game in some designated time period from now, he incurs a ban from ww. Any further subbing after that will escalate the punishment.
Werewolf is a participatory game, and to sub out as frequently as he does damages his participation and his team. If you feel you are likely to sub out - do not signup for the game. It is unfair for both the other players and the game mod.

No way is this the first time this has been mentioned. And when people have posted about being subbing out and not bothering to play, who do you think they were actually talking about?
Also, wrt the "Premier League" idea - I don't like it for the reasons that Stephen H pointed out.
It seems exclusionary. I know it's not a big deal, I know the requirements are really easy, but if the requirements are easy then what's the deal? Just play normal games.
This doesn't seem like a way to solve the issues with the games. If there are issues with games, directly fix the problems, not just work around it. Seems like it's elitist for the sake of being elitist
I mean, no offence, but let's relegate people who get mislynched d1/d2. They still get a win when the rest of us carry them to victory, but are they really ELIte?
