I mean it's definitely different but is it wolfy in this case? Like it would be one thing if he were getting heat or attention and kind of just ignoring it and doing his own thing (which would definitely be abnormal) but do we really expect villager IRTM to make mostly/only meta reads even without any context

i mean is he even making reads?

he made a timing tell post about kami that he didn’t follow up on and voted me with no explanation

yeah. there's not a lot there, I agree with you. his "read" on tess (the post that i said was funny) was also odd to me because the reason he was seeing tess as suspicious is exactly what he does when he gets heat. which is why i thought it was funny.

Unless like, he complains about being wolf read a lot, and that's something he doesn't do as a wolf--which actually exists surprisingly frequently. However I'm not going to look at his games to figure that out

he said he's wary of people who make reads on other people based on meta - specifically when a player A makes a read on player B based on something player B said about player A

Meh I think there's a substantial difference between preemptively justifying your game feeling off and explaining an absence after the fact.

I don't think either are particularly useful, but the former at least comes out more when people are feeling defensive. The latter is pretty meaningless unless you think a player is literally hiding from the game.

well I've not seen him much but the most convincingly towny I've seen him was he posted like 50 fluff posts and 30 posts complaining about being wolf read and 20 game related posts then said "I posted 100 times so I'm out of my wolf range"
