If you really believe that, then you're leveling yourself.

I'm trying to figure out if it's +EV for jay to absorb bullets (and not fire) or to taunt the rabbit so he can shoot sooner (but make his enemies bullets more useful)

This is assume jay cannot fire until after death.

Actually, now that i think about it... it would be useful IF he has scry, AND the death reveals are hidden. Which is a rather unique situation. But theoretically he could have fakepeeked his mafia-bro as clear, and then revived a villager to to look uber-villagery and lock the peek in.
