Joe Letteri

Currently the head of WETA Digital, he's won 3 Oscars for visual effects, and worked on movies like Avatar, the last two Lord of the Rings movies, and the original Star Wars. He gives me a genius visual effects director to lead the special effects efforts on my movies

Conrad L Hall, Cinematographer

One of the all time great cinematographers, he has won three oscars for his work on Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid, American Beauty and Road to Perdition. I feel adding a Cinematographer to my studio just adds great visual appeal to my films beyond what I could get otherwise.

John Belushi

Another case where I think I don't need to do a writeup beyond those 2 pictures. What a goofy awesome comedian.

Vittorio Storaro

One of the best cinematographers of all time. Coppola basically gave him full control of the visual aspect of Apocalypse Now, and wow did he deliver. He won 3 oscars for cinematography for Apocalypse Now, Reds, and Last Emperor.

Danny Boyle is definitely nice value. He was someone I was avoiding picking since I had him in the SE one. But everything he has done so far has been damn solid, and a wide variety of genres. Any director that can do 21 days later and slumdog millionaire is definitely badass.

michael madsen - great actor from reservoir dogs, kill bill, donnie brasco, mulholland falls, kill me again, thelma and louise, etc etc

woo-ping yuen (aka yuen wo ping) - choreographer for the matrix, crouching tiger, kill bill, fearless and many others; obviously matrix and crouching tiger were very influential films in terms of choreography of the 21st century

i'm no fan of the dance style of fighting that these films are the key examples of. I prefer my punches to, you know, pack a punch.

i filled out what was missing in the spreadsheet's /roster/ tab, but it might be worth making sure i got people's picks in the right spots, because i did it fairly mechanically without paying too much attention.
