this was final jeopardy one night.... hope i get it right.

what two south american countries are on same longitude as miami, florida? i.e. line straight south from miami goes thru what 2 south american countries.

please spoiler your answers as there aren't that many candidate countries.

ALSO.

what 8 countries lie in both the eastern and western hemisphere??

http://www.worldatlas.com/aatlas/inf...eastwestco.htm

not that great a question as the countries are either obvious or obscure (except for one country)............. need to know your africa geography

heading out for final golf round of year... i'm sure people can check an atlas for the south of miami question

I clicked on the link for #2 thinking it would define the question, instead it gives the answer graphically, so don't do this if you still want to guess.

It really means: which 8 countries lie on the prime meridian (longitude 0 degrees)? Not counting overseas possessions.

guess for q 1

Spoiler:
Brazil and Uruguay

The second question definitely needs to be rephrased to indicated 'on the prime meridian,' because there are several countries that lie on the 180 meridian, thus putting them in both hemispheres.
