Plaintiffs File a lawsuit, so that's gotta go. In England the King or Queen is the Plaintiff in criminal cases. Not sure if insanity is going there or not...
Greenhouse - Should be good
Thief - Think we're getting clued toward this because it isn't lawsuit or litigant or something
Pipe - Next word in POE I don't see any connection to.
Astronaut - Next after that.
Crown - Somewhat concerned about this, but not sure if insanity is thinking about that? & it wasn't capitalized, so might still be good?
Roll - Plaintiff is a roll in a case, so throws some shade on this.
Scroll - Scroll seems like an old-schooly legal thing.
These should probably not be ours by now, but could be in some order...
Spurs
Einstein
Pin
File
Suite
Bed
Lace
Contract
Foam
Hit
Ball
I feel that the 1st 4 should be right, then after that it gets dicey as it relates to the last 3.
Crown - WWII, sports & possibly plaintiff connection. I should probably stop having this toward the top of my list, although they've also been clued away from it.
Roll - I suppose this could have some connection to all of those, too, plus a delicious role should be soft...regardless, it's already blue, so I should probably just take it off the list, huh?
Scroll - WWII & old school legal type word. I kinda like it better than Crown or Roll at this point.
Spurs - I dunno, he's a poster in our forum, so I don't think insanity would miss the sports connection, but who knows?
Einstein - I'm pretty sure he has a fairly strong WWII connection, but not that big on history.
Pin - Pull pin from a grenade, pin for golf & bowling, can hear a pin drop. Dunno?
Suit - Lawsuit, Plaintiff's wear suits. Should be out out.
Bed - Beds should be soft, but I guess this isn't as hard disqualifying as some of the ones above it?
Lace - Also soft. See e.g. bed.
Contract - Sports contracts, contracts are often involved in lawsuits, WWII probably some contracts.
Foam - Was neutral. Should probably not be on the list.
Probably Crown 6th because I think he clues us away from it harder if it was bad because it was on top of my list, & I think he capitalizes Plaintiff if he was thinking to knock that one off for that reason...
7th word should probably be one of Spurs, Bed or Lace. How soft is lace? What was he trying to accomplish with the clue at the time? Should go back & check...
(really I'm at work at 7 pm on a Saturday because I should be writing deposition questions, but meh :/)
Is he trying to pull another word back in by going plaintiff? I mean, a Defendant could put a hit on someone, & hits aren't soft, but cluing WWII + sports if Hit is ours is a bit tough to fathom...
