What other traits is she missing that are required in a contest like this? I mean, she's also got talent, wit, charm in spades, but I'm assuming her detractors don't really argue these points.

Either this thing is a beauty contest or it isn't. And a quick look at the past winners suggests it isn't. Kendrick has it all.

Not even remotely close to what I was saying. She's the opposite of ugly - the people I specifically quoted GAVE her pretty/cute (in addition to super fun). But other than those things, they just don't see it? Don't see what exactly? That she's not a random super hot Colombian model? Ok...

Fwiw I do not think Anna Kendrick is ugly at all, I just think she doesn't have the raw attractiveness that it (should) take to win this thing.

And while we're at it, I'm legit astonished that Emma Stone hasn't been nominated yet. Aren't teamKENDRICk people all up in the teamSTONE as well? fwiw I don't like her either
