Chips, can you explain your entry post about bsball?

oh God, I just woke up to page 8 and now we're on 20. I went out last night and wasn't able to cast my vote on time. I'll try to be more with it from these days on. Mish mashes are intense.

Yes. This thread is going faster than I can read it almost. I just got to you saying I slipped about Hoya. I didn't. There was a post a long time ago saying CPHoya was subbing out. Or I'm hallucinating, but I'm 99% sure it's there. I hope someone else has pointed that out by now.

This claim should be easy to verify: Chips reveals n0 peek, that player confirms or not. I will give Chips 1 day for something like this to happen.

Here's the fact of the matter, I've never played in a WW game (not that I've played that many) where the players in the thread take it upon themselves to decide who should be peeked. If for some reason we should be doing that in this game, that reason has gone over my head.
How does it help the wolves to know who the village wants to be peeked?

I don't understand why there isn't generally greater seer coordination. I was a seer in Alice, and I definitely would have appreciated input on who the village thought needed to be resolved and why. The reason is "coordination". Especially w/ floating power orbs. We don't want to peek and seer-block the same player, do we?

This is not correct. Well, it sort of is, I did ask you about the original vote. But I specifically asked you what it was on a reread that made you think I was a good vote and you said you did not remember. Since when is USA Today a wolf read?

My question:

When I reread, your posts seemed extra flavorless -- like how USA Today pretends to be a newspaper.

You didn't quote it, so no.

bsball used to be a very good wolf. wahoo used to be a good player. Now they are proud members of the jaded has-beens. I club it appears I am not allowed to join. They have both been awful (super lazy) from what I've seen recently. Despite that, if wahoo has strong opinions, you'd be wise to listen to him. He doesn't push his thoughts hard, so you have to act on them yourself. In particular, any read he has on bsball is gospel.

I saw signs of life from bsball so I wondered why. Does he have an agenda? Those signs of life have disappeared.

Re: Chips' claim. Even if it's verified to be true, I seriously question whether that is a village role.

Re: Seer coordination. I just didn't think we'd want to wolves knowing who the likely peeks are. Peeked villagers make nice targets. But I don't really know, I'm not going to argue with you because I'm not even sure I'm correct. It just didn't make sense to me at first glance that we would be coordinating peeks.

To Chips: I see you're around and I'll be around too for a tiny while longer. Any responses to my posts about you?

Agree with this, and I noted it as well. See, I'm not intransigently biased against you this game.

I do see what he's saying about USA Today fwiw.

I'm glad you're not backing down, sanga; if you actually are villa, having to respond to pressure like this (which I don't think you've really had to face previously) will do good things for your game, and especially your wolf game, in the long run. Of course, I don't think you're actually villa, but I'm still glad you're not backing down.

I have answered quite enough questions that add not a bit of value. My patience is long gone.

Gonna repeat something I said yesterday. This is for educational purposes only: defiance is villagery.

Chips,

gtfo

if you are a villager in this game it is absurd. you are playing about 1000x worse what everyone in the thread expects of you.

xxsooted is the only one being amicable with you and hes being weird which means he could be a wolf.

I dumped what I have. Some of that was from EOD. I created my spreadsheet after my strategy post. So there were a couple of things.

I had esse and ianaww as strong villas and sanga wolf. At night I read closely up to post 289 (that tab is still open). Those reads joined my existing ones.

This is not my job. I have put in way more time than I planned. I have given it my best effort. That notion has been laughed at and people -- mostly people on my team -- wish for me to cease contributing. It sounds like win/win to me.

I'd like for you to keep contributing, personally...so would crackedquads, loosekanen, and a host of other players off the top of my head.

The USA Today read sounds like a copout read. It's so vague and he doesn't cite any particular thing I did that made him feel that way.

Never thought you were biased against me, I just kinda felt that villager-Gad would have changed his mind about me by now.

For the record, this isn't the most pressure I've faced as a villager. I mean, you think I'm a wolf but you've said you won't vote me. I have Chips saying I was the wolfiest player ITT before I even posted and that I read like the USA Today. Other than that, most of the thread thinks I'm a villager, even Jim who doubted me before.

In day 1 of the Captain Planet vanilla game, I got heat because I told people my timezone in my intro post (I was just sharing info about myself with new players since that was my 2nd game ever) and then more heat because I said "if I am lynched I will flip villager." Apparently people thought the fact that I used "if" means I was suggesting I might not be a villager and essentially claiming wolf. I meant the only uncertainty would be in regards to whether I was lynched, not whether I'd flip villager.

Anyway, I was lead wagon for a lot of the day, and I think I was still in the lead with 10-15 minutes in the day. I survived, and never had another vote cast against me the rest of the game.

That's a whole lot of UTRs.

Now the smart move is to engage them when they enter the thread.

Instead the rest of the day is going to be talking about me. I would drink the potion right now if I could, just so it could be a productive day.

I regard the orb-peeking as role-neutral, tbh. Both sides would be benefited by the ability (as I said earlier) because both sides have an interest in understanding wtf is going on.

What about the role makes it more likely to be a wolf role? You are starting to look blindered, and I'm not sure it's a coincidence that Chips has been pushing for you since D1.

That reads list was so, so bad, and including VarianceMinefield (2 total posts) and J.D. (2 total posts) in it just makes it worse.

Shades of Risk when Larry (as a wolf) posted a pretty nonsensical reads list and was rightly lambasted for it.

You've STILL been spending time on this ww game.

How do you answer a question of "if you are around why haven't you read more than 289 posts?" with "**** that it's not my job to spend time on this game".

You didn't just get tilted and walk away. You're still here, for some reason stalking the last page?...............
