Ok, for final round, I will rand to pick one of you. That person's trio of cards will be the actual murderer/location/object for my murder (RIP). I'll then look at my 7 vision cards and pick exactly 3 cards for my vision (no drawing to replace, either). I can use a crow if I have any available to replace all 7 cards, but I can't take one card then use crow then grab 2 more, for example. One of the 3 must be my vision for the murderer, one for the location, one for the object. I then reveal those in random order so you don't know which of the 3 cards each is my vision for.

If people were on low and medium levels of clairvoyance, I would only reveal one, then wait for low clairvoyant mediums to pm their vote, then I reveal a second card, medium level would pm their vote, then final card and high will vote.

You are all on high so get to see all cards, but since this is the first game, I'll post each of the 3 in separate posts so you can see what it's like to only have 1 or 2 to go on.

Once everyone has pmed me their vote, I will do final reveal and we win if the majority voted for the right trio. If a tie, the tied trio that was voted for by the person with highest clairvoyancy level will be the group's choice. If still tied, I'll sum the level of all players voting for each of the tied choices and highest sum is the choice. If still a tie, then I'll rand.

game is decent but a bit long? for what it is and the ending, kind of needs a turbo variant maybe? Or maybe we just need to up the difficulty a bit

maybe others enjoy the slow pace.

Thank you for hosting and bringing this game to POG Nich! I can see it becoming a staple.

Hour One:
You guys got the Sweeney Todd and Indy Jones references right away, so that was good

Key+Hat for Governess was mentioned but Nun was chosen for "creepiness." I thought the Nun looked like the mean nun from Sister Act while the Governess looks straight out of a Tim Burton movie, so we weren't on the same page with "creepiness" or the clues.


Hour Two:
nothing good for governess so I gave eye all 7 cards as a "guess next on list" option because he only had governess and bagpiper left and nobody was on bagpiper for first round

for workshop, i figured since I just gave eye cards like vampire and voldemort that ami would know crypt can't be his or I would have given them to him, so hopefully he'd end up on workshop by POE..I gave him all the cards I didn't need for the next round (cannon for revolver, black bird for veranda, ship for rope or pool)

you guys mentioned that ami couldn't be crypt due to me using vampire on eye's 7 card dump, but then it was forgotten and crypt guessed anyway



Hour Three:

eye down to just one option so he's a free CROW to dump cards this time
I dumped cannon on eye's so was hoping people would pick up on it THIS time and know d1 couldn't be revolver. Nope.
Also I dumped water images on eye's, so the black bird should be Veranda over pool, which pwns did guess correctly

Hour Four:
These were straightforward good cards for my clues this time!
For d1 I just gave him everything to go for "next on list" with typewriter; also, balloons reminded me of dumbbell so he would throw that out if any doubts

Hour Five:
All 3 objects are stick-like objects, so very little to differentiate them. luckily the hammer was on blue background and i had the piano on blue background card and pianos have hammers to hit the strings and make noise, so that worked out well


Final Turn:
getting the hourglass card on a final round when watchmaker is your target is a cheat code. final card having rope prominently was great confirmer and then for veranda the best fit was the dudes outside since veranda is outside

I had pwns after the first card. Thought it could relate to both climbing and night. Then the hour seemed to be the watchmaker, and after seeing the last card I decided that related to the rope and the first card related to the location, because of the night.

So you guys kicked ass and I had decent cards for what I needed to do, so this game wasn't as difficult as the other game (cards make a big difference in variance though).

The main takeaway is that if I throw away lots of cards on someone then those are not gonna be cards for the next people. And I also know who is likely to get to next round so I'm not throwing away cards that help them the next round. So looking at that stuff more can help on the margins when the visions are tougher. But again this game it wasn't needed much because cards were good and y'all kicked ass.
