Based on the list so far, I'm confident in saying the following:

Movies with more expensive tickets definitely rank higher on this list.

It doesn't take into account the continually rising cost of tickets. By that I mean that there is no adjustment for inflation; if there were, these movies that came out within the last few years would be much lower on the list.
