It does matter.

We need to determine who is in what faction - so that we can optimise our killing faction. We want to weaken as many factions as possible early without wiping out any given one.

The village does not want to face two still strong factions.

So we do not openly declare war on any one faction - we work by ourselves classifying who is who - and we blackmail the fark out of the weaker ones to weaken the stronger ones and sow disunity.

So sure we want to wipe them all out but there is mroe to ti than that.,
