The baudib post to Digger was really bad because:

1) It's completely false. You can't get spewed villager in a multi-faction game.

2) It tells me that getting spewed villager is something that's on baudib's mind. That's not good. Villagers aren't concerned about being spewed villager, it's just not a natural thing to think about, especially this early in the game. After all, they are villagers already. Interpreting spew is the type of thing that should only come to mind after the wolf is dead.

Wolves, on the other hand, are really only concerned with getting in the thread and acting villagery at this stage of the game. There have been no events, no night actions, nothing concrete to go on. They have nothing on their mind except getting the thread to think they're villagers.

I think that baudib post shows where his priorities are.

I'm not sure if you would approach a large game like this differently than you would a vanilla though. I think you're more likely to call people wolves as a wolf. I don't think you would try to pocket me as a wolf either.

but here's how your play is starting to look to me:

you had me as your top wolf and never explained why, when i asked you to explain your reads you didn't mention me, later on you said i had been posting in a villagery fashion

then you agreed with a post by accobra_kid even though it was based on meta and you and i don't have any meta, you also didn't question accobra and your explanation for agreeing with him is something you could easily have just added in after i asked you what was up, basically you have no evidence to suggest that anything you're saying is true unless you had previously put your thought process in the thread, which you haven't

this game is basically not "solvable" since there are more wolves than villagers, assuming the previous setups. Solving the game to find the wolves is not a valid concept since most people are wolves.
You have to eliminate the other factions, i.e., survive. Additionally if you are a villager, you NEED to locate your teammates which is a disadvantage compared to other factions who can push literally anyone. + they mostly push wolves (because of numbers), so they sound genuine and pro-village.

Just wanted to sum up why this game sucks for villagers.

As an important addendum to the usual suspects:

For villagers. In this game it is not really important to find wolves. You need to survive to make the village win. If you are getting mislynched or shot by villagers, it is a tremendous blow to the team. So don't play the "being wolfy to catch wolves" routine, it simply is bad. The game is fundamentally different from usual in the sense that wolves are gonna kill themselves, assuming we dont give them fake reasons to kill villagers. In standard werewolf, wolves hunt the wolfy villagers, here they will go at each other. Don't be a moron and be more wolfy than the wolves, please.

to take home:

just be villagery, find the other villagers, don't try to catch them wolves because everyone is a wolf anyway.

i can be an obvious villager but this is my first multifaction game so i'm not sure how it's going to work this time, also part of being an obvious villager is having other villagers who are prepared to say that one is an obvious villager and there's a decent chance that more than half the player pool are wolves which leaves less people around with the motivation to do that

and it's obv up to other people to describe my wolf game but i think it's a lot like my village game
