players i haven't seen before:

Gadarene -- Dude clearly knows how to play but I expect more from him given reputation, push on YG seems...odd...weak...optimistic? His posting style is a little tilting.


DWetzel -- Another strong player, I can't make up my mind on him. In general I don't like/can't read players who post so many gifs? Other than CoryGOAT. Honestly I think I need the Jay-Wetzel dynamic resolved before I can see the rest of the village clearly. I'm going to admit he reads Jay better than I do but I had Jay as an earlier/stronger village lean.

Nolder: As someone who is still new to this forum and game, I can appreciate the dilemman Nolder is going through. I'm not gonna say he is a lock wolf but some of the things he says do not reconcile with the idea that he is an experienced player, and even less with the idea that this is an experienced player AND a villager.

Redd: One of my favorite people but I don't read him well. Part of the problem here is that in three long games, I have yet to be on the same side as Redd. I know the guy is trying and his life schedule isn't conducive to being around the game as much but other than 1 or 2 posts I don't see a ton of villageryness from him. I am reminded of the horror show of G1 where Redd just bamboozled me with a couple of posts that were lolworthy in the postgame. Greater than rand chance of being wolf.

Zdye -- On surface, Zdye is fitting into his normal game HOWEVER the sense I get from his play is that this is a guy enjoying watching the world burn around him. Here's a dude who was born to be neutral. It's clear we don't see eye-to-eye on approach to the game and I can't read him well (I tried to peek him N2 in G1). But if he doesn't get super villagery really soon, "Zdye needs to die" has a ring to it. Honestly hope he can clear himself soon because he's a strong villager and if he doesn't he'll troll me as long as I'm alive.


Grant2: Look, if I could do it again...IDK, I might go the same way. I hate the path of least resistance, especially on D1. I wasn't yelling and screaming to save Grant as much as I wanted everyone to take a look at the big picture. I also had multiple problems with the Grant wagon: 1. Zdye tosses a seemingly frivolous vote after insulting his general style and 2. I hated Xkf's stance, which went from "yeah I agree it's silly but I'll stay here for now" to "kill Grant/kill Baudib" to "I'm coming around on Baudib and am OK with Grant lynch." This reeked of a wolfish backing away and I hated it.

As for Grant himself, well he started terribly, came back terribly, looked terrible after thread reopened and then...started to look a little better. There's a lot of time left in this long day and if he's a villager I expect he will show it or die as a lolworthy wolf.

I spent a lot of time taking out stuff about previous games that were only partially relevant to current read.

Look, villager grant wouldn't qq when I said his posting was a bit weak (which is pretty much the gist of that post)

Villager grant would have stepped up and defended himself.

BTW, just in case you are accidentally a villager, keep this in mind:

In the last 3 games with Redd, I pegged him accurately:

- Godfather = I tried to save him from mislynch
- TTT 17'er = I tried to CFD him on D2
- Vendetta = We incited him to misvote at must-lynch to bring home a wolf win

Maybe I get lucky, or maybe I have a special psychic connection with him after he took me to that gay strip club, but either way, I feel like saving him this game.

I can only say that the majority of my time has been spent catching up and taking notes. I haven't devoted a lot of time to "living in the moment". I understand that's a problem. Considering I'm going to be absent most of tomorrow and will probably come back to like 9999999 new posts I'm going to take a new tactic of skimming when I catch up, taking minimal notes, and trying to gut read my way through the rest of this game. Obviously what I'm doing now isn't going to work out for any of us. I'm just as frustrated as you guys are so I'm going to try to fix that. It's not like my reads have been worth much so far anyway.

And yeah like I said I'm having trouble keeping up and I know that's frustrating. I'm going to change how I'm playing, gonna streamline, and see if that helps things.
