Tick, bug, vet are first thoughts but flea is much better for those

Maybe didn’t go flea to avoid vet or maybe to avoid bug

Lyme is a disease like a bug is (flu) so I lean towards tick+bug and not vet

Bow - Lyme has bullseye rash so bow and arrow; I don’t like 2-3 step connections like this
Bug - likely
Cell - maybe?
Conductor - yanni
Current - don’t think so
Genius - yanni
Kiwi - nah
Knife - nah
Mouth - tick bite from their mouth to get Lyme?; seems like Lyme makes you thirsty also
Root - meh
Spider - they don’t give you Lyme
Tick - definitely
Vet - maybe but don’t like (see flea)
Watch - yanni?
Water - makes you thirsty, better than mouth

Kiwi obv. I have nfi for the last one. Water isn’t juicy, and water was next on our implied list after kiwi since bug had been guessed.

But maybe I’m overthinking it and it’s just kiwi and water. Because I don’t know what else on the list could remotely connect to juicy.

Kiwi didn’t need to be clued again. It’s clearly ours, and would’ve been ours with a 1 clue that didn’t try to fit it with another word that now is unclear.

Gifting them two words hurt. I understand the tick/bug thing as it's hard to clue a specific thing without tagging the general thing (see also Lightning/Light from the No List game), but can someone explain how in the world Rock was the #2 guess for Yanni?

Giving us a 1 clue implies “continue.” Remember the n-1 rule: when we’re in the end game, giving us a clue that’s one number less than the number of words we have left means the next word we were guessing last turn is good. Kiwi was our lock next guess, as we’d bolded it last turn.

You could’ve gotten us off of kiwi, but didn’t need to do anything to keep us on it.

I honestly don't always subscribe to the n-1 rule even though it has persisted here

in this case since we were totally on Kiwi next and if you wanted to make it super obvious I'd just go something like ice - unlimited or Perrier - unlimited or whatever

They had bolded kiwi so if you give them one less than they need, they know kiwi is theirs
