I'd say you got raped. Gave up an elite QB, a very good RB prospect and a WR on an elite passing team for a washed up QB, an injured RB with an injury history and another good RB on the team and Welker

and wtf is that about henderson? not only is he like what...the 11th receiver? but are you calling the team that has scored < 5 passing TD's this season an elite passing team? If thats an elite passing team, what isnt?

Henderson is #2 WR on the team actually, he's started every week. Now as to whether or not he's a viable fantasy player or ever will be that's another issue entirely. NO are still clearly an elite passing offense though, lol at saying they're not just because they've scored <5 passing TDs this season.

Personally given the way DMac has played this season I actually think he's as much of a prospect for the future as Jones and possibly slightly more valuable. I think OTI probably got the better of the trade value wise (I'm not so sure it's especially good for his team overall though) but it's fairly close.

As good as you might think the saints passing offense is, I will never agree that a team can be an elite passing offense and go 4 games averaging 250 yards per game and <2 touchdowns per game. Especially given their opponents have included the 49ers and Panthers.

DMC is only slightly more valuable than Felix and while Welker is good, Palmer has very little value while Brees is absolutely elite with several good years left

Did everyone start souring on palmer because sports center told them to last week? I don't think he is good or anything, but everyone is acting like he is dreadful. Not sure where that is coming from.

I can't watch sports center so that's not where it comes from for my part :P

I guess. We'll see. He has 85 and TO. Not the best receiving corp, but not bad. I think he played pretty badly in the first few games, but I think he is at least league average.

Heres how I see the trade as far as off the top of my head dynasty rankings for the position.

Brees (#3) vs Palmer (#15-20)
Felix Jones(#20-25) vs McFadden (#15-20 RB)
Henderson(#50+) vs Welker (#20-25 WR)


Which I think is a pretty fair trade even if I do like my side. Birdman doesn't care about DMC's slight hamstring pull since he is 0-4 and has almost no chance to make the playoffs with his current roster.

I guess I'm in the minority but I definitely like birdmans side. Sure, palmer sucks but so does henderson. Dmc has been good this year whereas felix has regressed and done nothing. I like welker and his value would go up even more is moss gets traded.

OTI asked me what I thought.. I think it is good for both people, and while OTI may have a small edge for his team, the trade is really close. I may also do the trade as Birdman.

As a Raiders fan my verdict is that the trade is bad for the guy getting McFadden. He's an injury magnet and what he has shown at the beginning of the season isn't sustainable

If I'm not in "win now mode" Felix Jones is > McFadden

Felix has lost a step with all of his injuries. I dont think he will ever get the bulk in dallas...

The reason I thought the part of your post I underlined is stupid is because you said that a reason DMC is of less value is because there is another good RB on his team. But we were comparing him to felix jones? Felix Jones is on a team with Marion Barber and Tashard Choice. Even if the rest of your points are salient (which I'm not saying they are), that one is just clearly ridiculous. So ridiculous and not thought out that it is clear you are just fitting fact to theories rather than the other way around. You wanted to say it was bad, and then you figured out why. Which is often what I see you do. Anyone can make an opinion sound well supported by using faulty logic like you did.

Personally I think he is going to go the way of Julius Jones.
