Just curious - reading some of the bylaws it seems like there's a 30 player cap on teams. Is this correct, and if so, when do teams have to be compliant?

Should be 27 player cap, and cut down the Monday before kickoff. Right now its set higher, but in season cap is 27.

Make sure you get done with cutdowns by Monday. If you don't I will cut for you based on this years draft in reverse order of picks.

First you didn't make your cuts until well after the deadline
Then you, clearly deliberately, kept more players than allowed
Now you are trying to trade the/a player that should have been cup long ago?

I sent him the offer on the cut day, forgot to check back if he had accepted or not. Communicating over the internet sometimes takes a bit longer than it should. If people think it's unfair I'll cut him, but recalling last year I think I was one of the few people under cap I think some people had over 30 on their roster for a lot of the year.

IMO if the offer was made on cut day, it's reasonable to wait for a response. I have no objections to ibav's action here - not like he can gain much in the way of an edge from them.

Seems like my kicker got cut and since I was at a conference all week I couldn't wait till the last second and cut down to 27 so only 1 kicker.

Adding to the wire stuff, the "add from last round" button is pretty handy. You can select someone else to drop (George) and click that button and you get
Add John and drop George
Add Jeff and drop George
Add Bill and drop George

which works fine (you would have gotten John if he was around in round 1 so having him again doesn't hurt)

What's the deal with the Jones TD? Do I not get those points?

Perusing Twitter I don't see any sites giving points for this at the moment. I imagine they'll change it, it seems like an official scoring issue.

edit: Although the site has a special option for fumble recovery for TD which has never been enabled. It may be how it was initially setup by OTI that it doesn't count. Will mess with it as original rules clearly state fumble recover is a score. Going to try to fix, and only fair to do it retroactively since it was in the original rules. You'll all be getting a notification of that. Hope it doesn't change any outcomes but this is what is fair.

Close loss two weeks in a row + Charles down (who I own in both leagues). Had better weeks.

At least I picked up West off the wire in both leagues last week. Can't complain about my decision making in that regard

No. Been that way since the league started. After kickoff starts for the week waivers are closed until they process.

So the open waiver period is from 11:30pm Wednesday to 8:00pm Thursday? That is convenient.
