Ya, same, of course. Just as a heads up as I will be outta here in like 90 minutes for a good portion of the night and wont be able to post contact info when picks happen.

As for RB vs WR, I think it's definitely shifted towards WRs in the last few years (despite this being only the 3rd year I've played ff lol) because of the increase in RBBC across the league. Going two WRs in the first two round isn't completely absurd any more (I would likely have done this from the 10 spot in the startup last year if Chris Johnson hadn't dropped to me), whereas it would been considered terrible a few years ago.
Well I had the choice of Rivers at QB or crossing my fingers on another QB being there that I was looking at who probably wont even be as good of a long term candidate as rivers. I wanted to trade up, but my slot makes it impossible to get any good trades with anyone.

Well Birdman could take a long time regardless

Yeah, I'm not as high on Rivers as most since I believe SD will always be a run first team whenever possible whilst Norv is there, even with Rivers under centre. He wasn't the top QB on my board and imo is in a tier of 3 or 4 QBs who are pretty close together.

You keep saying that but its not true.

You have tons of value to trade up in the even rounds, just not the odd ones.

I don't know. I think their offensive attack is going to be pretty balanced form this point on, especially when referring to how LT was talking about the Chargers' philosophical shift last year in regards to their offensive line schemes...

I hate Rivers because he's a giant douche, but he's a consistent fantasy stud in my mind.

Looking to possibly trade down in round 5. AIM: zachansley

IMO there's a huge cliff between Rivers/Romo and the next tier of QBs. The rest are all either old, unproven, or rapists.

Spoiler:
i'm referring to tim tebow there, of course

lets not talk about players that haven't been drafted yet

Umm yeah. A lot of the strategy that was talked about might not have been advisable in terms of giving others an edge because you're telling them your strategy but it only hurts yourself. Talking about undrafteds is a massive no no in any draft.

I see no reason why it should be discouraged, since I'd take anything said with a gigantic grain of salt and simply proceed with my draft as I would have otherwise. If others don't want to disclose their thoughts on players they might yet draft then that's totally understandable. If OTI/the thread thinks we should be discouraging any talk about players yet to be drafted, then I'll play along but I think it's kind of silly.

I mean, it's inevitably going to come up when discussing picks already made -- my opinion on Crabtree was tied into my opinion on Alex Smith, for example -- and secondly, it's going to come up in trade discussions anyway. Plus I'm sure guys in the existing league already have plenty of idea what each other think about certain players / teams, or can at least guess based on their general strategies.

the point with undrafteds is it can screw things up for someone else and then they will be pissed at you.

I'd prefer not to talk about undrafteds.

and all your guys talk about Crabtree makes me feel much better about my decision to grab him when I did.

Talking strategy is fine but when talking about undrafteds you may give people ideas they otherwise might not of had and hurt someone else unintentionally

Austin Miles pick is funny.

I mean, from average mocks its good value.. but I would never draft him.

Definitely feels like flash in the pan type of guy.

Great pick imo. Seen him go in the first round several times.

Everything I have seen and heard about Miles Austin makes m believe he is the real deal.

He was one of the people I was serisouly considering at 2.10 and will be comparing him to Crabtree for the rest of their careers to see if I made the right choice.
